All American Burger Logo and Banners - Fast Times at Ridgemont High 1982

Fast Times at Ridgemont High was a trend setting, edgy movie that told the truth about American Youth.  By today's social media standards it is fairly tame.  But back in 1982, its racy themes saw that was subverted by conservative voices.  It had a limited opening on the West Coast, only.  In a weird way this discrete East Coast censorship gave the movie a 'bad ass' label, enhanced its popularity, and ensured that it would spread by word of mouth, rather than by the "TV Telling Me What To Do."

This low profile movie was also a launching point of several All American Actors who would become a part of Hollywood's elite, who knew?  Stars that were incubated in the film include: Nicolas Cage, Forest Whitaker, Anthony Edwards, Jenifer Jason Lee, Phoebe Cates, Judge Rinehold, Eric Stoltz, and Sean Penn.
The logo of All American Burger is similar to the arms of the United States of America.  Also note the "No Shirt, No Shoes, No Dice" Sign. This movie is Totally 80s in time capsule.

Fast Times At Ridgemont - US Flag

The penultimate high school movie that set the vibe of the 1980s, distinct from the 1970s or 1990s.  Made with real high school people.  It showcased the hard and serious lives of students that sometimes occur under the radar of parents.
